Der Patient wird in Bauchlage auf dem Operationstisch positioniert. Die chirurgische Methode und die Dauer des Eingriffs h\u00e4ngen von der gew\u00e4hlten Technik ab, sei es endoskopisch, mikroskopisch oder offen, und betragen in der Regel zwischen 40 Minuten und 1,5 Stunden.<\/p>\n<p>Der Eingriff umfasst den Zugang zum betroffenen Bereich (hier lumbal) der Wirbels\u00e4ule durch einen kleinen Schnitt. Nach dem vorsichtigen \u00d6ffnen des Ligamentum flavum wird das vorgefallene Bandscheibenmaterial unter einem Mikroskop oder Endoskop f\u00fcr optimale Pr\u00e4zision sichtbar gemacht. Bei einer Diskektomie entfernt der Chirurg den fragmentierten Teil der Bandscheibe, der einen Nerv komprimiert oder locker ist und das Risiko eines erneuten Bandscheibenvorfalls birgt. In F\u00e4llen, in denen keine Diskektomie durchgef\u00fchrt wird, zielt der Eingriff darauf ab, den Druck auf einen Nerven zu lindern, ohne das Bandscheibenmaterial der Bandscheibe umfassend zu entfernen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Mobilisierung erfolgt in der Regel unmittelbar nach der Operation. Der Krankenhausaufenthalt variiert je nach eingesetzter Technik von einem Tag bei minimalinvasiven Eingriffen bis zu 5 Tage bei komplexeren offenen Operationen. Die R\u00fcckkehr an den Arbeitsplatz h\u00e4ngt vom Beruf des Patienten ab und liegt typischerweise zwischen 4 Wochen und 3 Monaten.
